CACTI

Cacti are found throughout North and South America. While
most are found in hot, desert climates, they can also be
found moist jungle habitats and in the mountains at elevations
over 10,000 feet. In North America, a few species range into
southern Canada and the northern Plains where winters can
be brutally cold. The following is a list of cacti that should
do well in Big Bear. Cacti do best when planted in sandy,
well-drained soils. Hot, sunny south-facing aspects are preferred.
