COMMUNITY WATER BUDGET SIGNS ARE BACK!

Following up on last summer's successful Community Water Budget Campaign and a pleasantly wet winter, the signs have returned with a brand new format. This summer, the DWP will update the signs monthly instead of weekly. The monthly target will be based on the average water use during the past three years, with minor adjustments to keep the community focused on water-use efficiency.

The aquifers have not yet fully recovered from the past six years of drought. Thus it is very important that we continue to build on the lessons we learned about using water efficiently. There will be no outdoor watering on Memorial Day weekend and May's budget will be 85 million gallons.
