SUMMER WATER USE IS DOWN, KEEP UP THE GOOD
WORK

Now that most of summer is behind us, DWP and CSD have
reviewed the community's water use in comparison to previous
years and we are very pleased with the community's water
conservation efforts. Here are the water use reduction
numbers for June, July and August 2004 compared to the
average of the same months in 2001, 2002, and 2003.

We would appreciate everyone who found ways to use water
more efficiently this summer to keep up the good work. At
the same time, we would like those who didn't conserve this
summer to reflect on their neighbor's success and join the
community effort to make the most of our water resource and
find ways to use water more efficiently. In most cases, you
will find that using water efficiently doesn't mean living
without. All of us just need to treat water as the valuable
resource it is and only use as much as we really need; no
more, no less.
