CONSERVATION CORNER
RECLAIMED WATER IS NOW AVAILABLE
The newest tool in the Big Bear Valley's
drought busting arsenal is now available. Thus far, slightly
over 100 users have been permitted and are currently using
reclaimed water. Last month, 1.6 million gallons of reclaimed
water was distributed throughout the valley. If anyone thinks
that reclaimed water might suit their needs, contact BBARWA
at (909) 584 4018.

Additionally, keep in mind that Labor Day weekend
is nearly upon us and the holiday will bring many visitors
to the valley. Accordingly, water use will increase to meet
the demand of the increased visitation. You can help CSD
and DWP meet the holiday demand by watering Thursday or Friday
and then not until after the holiday. Please continue to
conserve, explore alternative low water-use landscaping,
and consider using reclaimed water.
