CONSERVATION CORNER
WATER THOUGHTS FOR THE HOLIDAYS
Even though we have received some rain and
snow, we are still in a drought and water conservation continues
to be a high priority. Fortunately, the recent precipitation
and cooler temperatures have sent most plants into dormancy
eliminating the need to water outdoors. For anyone who just
can't resist the urge to water, keep in mind that the following
landscape watering restrictions are currently in effect.
CSD Customers: No watering turf from November
1st to April 1st.
DWP Customers: Twice per week watering. Contact
DWP for times and dates.
Unfortunately, droughts typically develop over
many years and are rarely terminated in a single wet winter.
Thus, we should all plan to continue conserving water by
following the conservation regulations issued by our water
providers. We all need to invest in ensuring a bright future
for our valley. Please join us in making water conservation
a habit.
DON'T FORGET TO WINTERIZE
YOUR WATER SYSTEM.
BROKEN PIPES WASTE WATER.
HAPPY THANKSGIVING!
